Soap dreams

It is hard to describe the feeling of excitement when creating a new soap. For those of you who love to cook, you’ll know what I mean. It is a magical adventure, seeing liquid transform into a creamy landscape and the simple joy of cutting the bars the next morning.

Not a fan of froofy soap scents, it is a joy to be able to create a soap you want to smell. Opening the door to the essential oils is always tempting. Which to use today…

Best of all is the day you get to use your new bar. Like a new toothbrush, a new hair cut, there is that simple element of  surprise and pleasure when you break out a new soap.

Waiting those 4 weeks for curing (cold process soaps only get better with time), can be difficult but well worth it. The soap bar will get harder as it dries out (last longer) and the lather will be fluffier. I mark the “made” date on each soap ingredient card so you know when each bar was created.

Here is today’s soap creation and I can only describe it as DIVINE. Pictured here is a view of the dreamy landscape. These have a delicious fresh yet warm scent from: Lavender, Rosemary, Bergamot, Lemon, Grapefruit and Ylang Ylang essential oils. Perfect for anyone in your family. These bars will be ready to ship Oct. 15th.

  1. Just the most sumptuous experience for all of your senses. By far the lovliest experience I have had with that magical bar called soap! I will be a repeat offender.
